The Ellington-Hulbert staff celebrated our Fifth Annual "Give Kids a Smile Day" on May 8, 2009. Dentally challenged youth from surrounding schools in Loudoun County were seen by our dental team to address needed cleanings, fillings, and extractions. Eligible children were referred by Loudoun County School Nurses and School Liaisons from their respective schools. The requirements necessary to be eligible for this "free" day are that children have no dental insurance, are between the ages of 6 and 12, and are in evident need of dental care. This is a day when the whole staff donates their time to serve the community, and this year we donated approximately $14,000 worth of work to the children.

• Pam Rice was the winner of a floral arrangement for her Thanksgiving table in November 2008. She told us the flowers were enjoyed by all her guests!

• Ryan Munslinger was the winner of the singing, animated moose toy we raffled at Christmas time.

• Marlo Swanson was our Valentine's Day 2009 winner and she was able to take her special someone out to dinner at Bonefish Restaurant.

• The winners of our two Giant Easter Baskets were Andrea Sosa and Christopher Wigle. We tried hard to buy baskets without too many sweet treats! Enjoy all those sports items and artistic pencils and paints!

• Our Mother's Day Basket winner was Ed Santiago and he won a Mary Kay Basket of beauty supplies and jewelry for his beautiful wife Brandi.
